I’m not new to donating blood, but since I’ve been working from home, I’ve found that I have more flexibility in my schedule to ensure that I get to donate regularly. I’ve also started donating platelets, which is a time-consuming process, and before the pandemic, I’d often struggle to find the time. With our healthcare system already overtaxed and winter weather wreaking havoc across the country, donating blood is incredibly important.
