Act of Kindness from Marguerita

12 days of Christmas this year. For our elderly family members I have been making weekly care packages. Each package has a hot meal for that evening, other comfort foods I canned or bought and puzzle books or something fun. I also make sure I check on them by phone at least two times a week.

This year I am wrapping 12 presents each, stacking them like a Christmas tree, marking them with the date they can open them. On each gift will be a small card with a memory I have of them doing something fun or loving. I want them to know they are cherished. They are important to me and should stay safe. They took care of me. Now it’s my turn to take care of them.
