Tonight 6 of my neighbors, my husband and I went caroling in our neighborhood. We have lived here for 30 years and never done this before.
We followed Dr. Osterholm's advice by physically distancing and wearing masks. We had a great time!
While only a few neighbors came to their doors to acknowledge our presence, I know we brightened the season for at least one neighbor who lost her husband this summer (not to COVID) and is now dealing with her own non-COVID health challenges.
We threw a pebble tonight. I think it's going to ripple out into the world.
