Act of Kindness from Glait

I'm an artist and like a lot of people my plans for 2020 changed when all of my art festivals were cancelled this past summer. So in April I started volunteering with a project doing memorial portraits of those who were lost to Covid 19 for their families. The project ended in the fall but I've continued on my own and have gifted 8 portraits so far. This project has helped me deal with the depression and helplessness that we all are experiencing with this pandemic and helps me remember that these are people's loved ones not just numbers.
